A prayer for those who need a lesson on how we look as a nation from heaven.

Before white people and Black people and Yellow people and Brown people came to America there were Native people here.

Can we close our eyes and imagine the creation that flowed, untouched for thousands of miles?

Do we understand how the world’s creation began and Who began it?

Entire species thrived, there were too many to count.

Freedom became the desired result of democracy based on a Creator.

Good and evil co existed and a nation was born with new, diverse peoples bringing science and religion and invention, disease and war.

Hope was exchanged for prosperity and many thrived, but not all.

Indigenous people became the sacrifice as progress tore down creation and crushed the old ways.

Justice was a result of law, yet not equal.

Kindness was learned but not always nurtured.

Learning new ungodly ideas became a part of children’s education.

Men led the masses and women screamed for equality.

New ways to achieve goals and inventions were constantly overturned and improved upon, birthing new achievements, but nothing new under the sun.

     Our eyes wandered from God.

Politics have become a dividing rod.

Questioning our motives did not include the eyes in heaven.

Reproduction became healthcare and the unborn became expendable.

     Self sufficiency took over community.

Tolerance made martyrs and more sacrifice of God’s laws and justice.

Unrepentance turns hearts to stone, a blind eye to sin.

Violence in the nation, especially against children, marks and scars many.

We the people became I. (We ask God to see our plight and hear our cries for a nation that’s deaf and blind.)

X-rays are required to find the heart of a nation once based on the laws of God.

Years and years of killing a human being in the womb have churned the selfish plow.

Zero is the weight of an unrepentant nation in the eyes of an angry God.
