In our travels, through out the west in our RV, we’ve met some interesting people. It’s been mostly a real pleasure to swap stories about our adventures with those who’ve faced similar challenges. What’s been truly remarkable to me are those who share their faith! Not because I meet someone who shares the love and fellowship of Jesus Christ, but because they strengthen me! I cannot express in words, how grateful I am for these believers! I thank You Lord, for sending these souls to share and increase faith with me. In Jesus name, amen.
If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. – John 13;14
Why did I title this forgiveness then? Because in giving thanks we also ask for forgiveness for sin. We then forgive those whose sin hurts us in one way or another. My last blog on sin made me think about how big our faith must be to truly forgive. We ask for and need Agape love. God’s love. Then forgiveness comes from deep in our heart. Our heart we have given to God as a believer.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. – Colossians 3:13
I love the friends we’ve met along the way. Mothers and Fathers on short jaunts missing their kids, new grandparents, great grandparents and those traveling with children. So many fellow humans out here seeing how the land lays, visiting monuments and parks, museums etc. When we get news because the WiFi works and/or we have cable or regular broadcasting, the events of the world can seem far away. When I do catch up on those events it’s rather numbing. God does mourn with us and imagine, because of His Sons propitiation on the cross, He forgives us! That’s the power from the cross. That’s our Sovereign God loving us, despite the sinful creatures we are. Forgiveness. Pass it on.
