In Acts 1, verse 9 it says:  “And after He (Jesus) had said these things, He was lifted up while they (His Apostles) were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.”  Jesus had also told them that He must leave so that the promise of God could be fulfilled.  We are learning that that promise was the coming of the Holy Spirit.  Praise God and His grace toward us!  He loves us and He gives us truths to live by and know for future generations.  The two angels standing among the Apostles in verse 11 tell them Jesus “will come in just the same way as you watched Him go into heaven.”  In Revelation and Matthew this is described as Jesus returning on clouds from heaven.  Good to know!

Jesus said to him, “You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.”- Matthew 26:64 NASB

Why make note of this?  It’s vague future, right?  Scripture itself tells us to be knowledgeable and be prepared.  I know that people will say Jesus is coming here or there.  Don’t believe it folks.  Follow scripture.  When He does return it will be from heaven where He ascended, with witnesses.  I take comfort in this.  There will be no denying it is Him.  This is what Revelation has to tell us.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. – Revelation 19:11 NASB

As for me?  I will study on!  My prayer is for all who believe to open your bible and learn all you can.  For those unbelievers, think about this:  What do you think life is about and what is the end result?  Where do you want to go when you die??? Prayers and His love!
